What happens on your first visit to a day spa
Everything you need to know about arrival times, health forms, consultations, draping and lounge access.
Visiting a day spa for the first time is straightforward when you know what to expect. From your initial arrival to your time in the relaxation lounge, every step is designed to keep you comfortable.
Lantern Day Spa operates two locations in the Las Vegas valley, offering licensed providers, published prices and clear durations for every service.
Arriving early and completing your health form
For your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to fill in a short health form and settle in. Returning guests arrive 10 minutes early.
Guests must inform the front desk and their provider about pregnancy, recent surgery or injuries, skin conditions, allergies, medications or recent cosmetic procedures so providers can change or decline a treatment when it is not suitable.
The pre-treatment consultation
Every treatment begins with a short consultation. You will discuss what you want from the session, specific areas to focus on or avoid, your preferred pressure, and any health updates.
Only guests with appointments may go past reception, and phones must be kept on silent in the treatment and relaxation areas to maintain a calm environment.
Draping, comfort and communication
For massage and body treatments, undress to your comfort level; you remain covered with a sheet and only the specific area being worked on is uncovered. For facials, the upper body is draped.
Tell your provider at any time if you want more or less pressure, increased warmth or a different focus. Providers check in regularly throughout your session.
Relaxation lounge, water and gratuity
After your treatment, you can spend time in the relaxation lounge with water or tea and review aftercare notes from your provider. Packages also include steam room access at the Las Vegas spa.
Gratuity is not included in prices and is entirely at your discretion. Tips can be left on a card, in cash or from a gift card balance.
A calm environment for your visit
Our front desk team and licensed providers ensure your first visit runs smoothly from start to finish. Book online or by phone with free parking available at both valley locations.
