The Back Facial provides specialized care for an area that is difficult to reach on your own. Each 45 minute session includes a thorough cleanse, exfoliation, optional extractions, and a customized mask selected specifically for your skin.
Lucia Ferreira performs back facials for guests who want to care for skin in hard to reach areas, often booking before a summer event or special occasion.
Unlike traditional face treatments, this session focuses entirely on the back while you lie comfortably face down on the treatment table with proper draping.
The process
Your appointment, step by step
Arrival and health form
Arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit to fill in a short health form and settle into the spa, or 10 minutes early if you are a returning guest.
The consultation
Every treatment starts with a short consultation to discuss your skin goals, areas of focus, any sensitivities, and relevant health changes.
The treatment itself
Lie down comfortably while your provider performs the cleansing, exfoliation, optional extractions, and application of the back mask.
Afterwards
Conclude your visit with time in the relaxation lounge, complimentary water or tea, and personalized aftercare notes from your provider.

What to wear and draping
You will undress to your comfort level for body treatments and remain covered with a sheet, with only the specific area being worked on uncovered.
